The Ego Reborn: the poppet-valve marker Redefined.

Every aspect of the Ego LV1 has been reshaped and redesigned to create the ultimate expression of Eclipse passion, performance and quality. There has never been such a complete and thorough overhaul of every facet of the Ego model, no stone left unturned in the pursuit of perfection. As a result the Ego LV1 utilizes technology never before seen in a paintball marker to transform the way it shoots and feels.

Internally the Ego LV1 introduces a revolutionary design that rewrites what can be achieved with this type of platform. The new system incorporates a profiled lever between the rammer and the exhaust valve that is used to separate the action of the rammer and bolt from the action of the valve. This additional element in the mechanism has several major benefits over the conventional knock-open system, particularly in respect to the force required to open the valve and the rate at which the valve is opened. This indirect operation of the valve means it can be opened more slowly, with considerably less force, yet retain excellent seal integrity.

The benefits when shooting? Smaller forces generated by the reciprocating components (bolt and rammer) and a smoother profile of the air released behind the ball which correlates to greatly reduced kick and significantly quieter sound signature. The change is so marked that in terms of feel and sound the Ego LV1 is no longer comparable to other poppet-based markers, but instead finds itself competing with the very best spool operated devices. It has to be seen and shot to fully appreciate the leap forward this system has made.

Yet that is only a small part of the Ego LV1. There are many more improvements throughout the entire marker, from front to back, inside and out. For example the valve itself is a completely new design that offers far superior flow paths through the entire valve chamber; the new LPR is fully integrated into the body of the marker so that it no longer protrudes beneath the barrel; the Zick3 rammer is designed to accelerate much more slowly, to be as gentle as possible as it loads the ball into the barrel; and each LV1 comes complete with two different weight rammers, one for efficiency, one for lower operating pressures; the AT Pipe system removes the need for macroline hose and fittings from the POPS to the inline regulator; the Regulator Sleeve and Crown integrate to provide a stable and ergonomic, non-slip foregrip; the grip and console offer a continuous soft rubber gripping surface around the frame; and the Cure5 bolt incorporates both a detachable soft rubber tip and free-floating transfer post seals.

Of course all this has been achieved without sacrificing the simplicity, reliability and ease of maintenance of a true Eclipse product.

The Ego LV1. The beginning of a new chapter in Ego history.
