La verdad no se. Desgraciadamente no hay una pagina de internet que tenga los numeros de serie por año de la marca S&W como si la hay en otras.
Solo se que el modelo 10-10 se fabrico de 1988 a 1996. Y según vi en una pagina de internet el prefijo BNU se empezó a usar en 1993. Pero esta ultima información no se que tan segura o tan veraz sea.
Del modelo 36 es todavía un poco mas difícil por que al contrario de otros modelos el numero dash del modelo 36 no cambiaba dependiendo de que cambio de ingeniería tuviera, sino que al principio solo indicaba que era de cañón de 2 round butt o de 3" square butt. No fue hasta mucho después que se le empezaron a añadir números Dash según el cambio de ingeniería como a la mayoría de los modelos de revólveres S&W.
